Susan Daffron is an author, book publishing consultant, and pet rescue advocate. The author of 12 books and contributor to 4, Susan is the president of Logical Expressions, a book and software publishing company, the president of the non-profit Small Publishers Artists and Writers Network, and the founder of the National Association of Pet Rescue Professionals.
Susan also organizes the Self-Publishers Online Conference, the first and only online conference specifically for "indie" publishers striving to create quality books.
A frequent speaker at events and teleconferences related to both pets and publishing, Susan has been quoted as an expert source on publishing and humane issues in a wide range of media outlets ranging from Reuters to Redbook magazine.
A recognized editorial expert, Susan Daffron has written more than 70 articles that have appeared in national magazines, more than 200 newspaper articles, an online software training course, a software book, cookbook, and book chapters.
In addition to her writing experience, Susan has more than 15 years of experience as a writer, editor, and designer of magazines, newsletters, books and other book-length documents such as users guides and manuals. She was awarded the Most Valuable Professional designation from Microsoft in 1996 for her expertise in working with long documents in Microsoft Word.
