 My name is Susan Daffron and I have helped many aspiring book authors turn their book publishing dream into a reality. I have a unique background in graphic design, Web design, editing, and publishing, so I have been exposed to virtually all facets of book publishing.
I have self-published my own books, been published through traditional large book publishing houses, and worked for a publishing company before I started my business Logical Expressions, Inc. As the president of the non-profit Small Publishers Artists and Writers Network (SPAWN), I interact with working publishers and creatives every day.
Unlike many "book coaches," I have written and published my own books and have experience in book writing, production, and marketing because I've done it all for clients and my own books. It's not a bunch of theory; I do the same things I advise my clients to do.

The Book Consultant site is filled with hundreds of articles that focus on how to publicize your business through print and online publishing. This site includes articles by me (Susan Daffron) and the other half of Logical Expressions, James Byrd.
 We often say that I'm the "expressive" half of Logical Expressions because I do all the graphic design and most of the writing work. James (the "logical" half) writes scripts for forms and does all the programming for our custom software applications like IdeaWeaver and database software behind sites like SelfPubU (online training) and the www.SelfPublishersOnlineConference.com (online conferences).
James also developed all the custom database software that runs our content sites like TheBookConsultant.com. (If you wonder about these things, no it's not WordPress, it's a custom content management system James wrote long before WP even existed.)
These days, we work with indie authors and publishers to help them bring their creative vision into the world in the form of a published book. Our goal is to work with our clients to help them create the highest quality, most profitable books possible.
About the Word Publishize™
 Throughout the site, you may encounter the word Publishize (it also happens to be the title of my book.) Yes, "publishize" is a made up word. While pondering potential names for our system and developing line of information products, Susan combined the words publicize and publish, which are the system's core concepts. The word can be tricky to say ten times fast, but we think it has a nice ring to it and it certainly captures the essence of our message.
So, for the record, the word "publishize" is hereby defined as "a system for publicizing a business through print and online publishing." Wikipedia, take note!
The Official Bio Stuff
Susan Daffron and James Byrd own Logical Expressions, Inc. a book and software publishing company based in Sandpoint, Idaho. Since 1995, Logical Expressions has offered Web site development, content creation, publishing, and custom software services to customers from all over the United States.
The couple operates Logical Expressions from their log home in the middle of the forests of North Idaho, with moral support from their adopted dogs and cats.
They often point out that if you can run an online business from the mountains of rural Idaho (the state with the distinction of having worst broadband in the United States), you can do it from pretty much anywhere.
